Wondernet Logistics Corridor

Wondernet handles two types of mineral fertilizers: urea and sulphur. Our logistics corridor originates in the countries of production—Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. After production, the mineral fertilizers are transshipped to Baku Port, Azerbaijan. From there, Wondernet ensures fast and secure transshipment and storage of the cargo, transporting it by railway to the Batumi Fertilizer Terminal, where the fertilizers are loaded onto ships at a rate of 1,200 tons per hour.

Our conveyor belt system enables the ship loader to operate at a rate of 1,200 tons per hour, ensuring a smooth flow of cargo from the warehouse to the vessel. This rate is among the fastest and most efficient in the region, allowing us to serve larger vessels more effectively and complete loading of up to 50,000 tons in less than three days.

How long does it take to transship from Baku to Batumi?
It takes 4 days for cargo to reach its final destination – Batumi Fertilizer Terminal – from Baku Port.

About us

Wondernet was founded in April 2017 by ADIA, Covalent, and Trammo Inc., and employs more than 150 people. We have invested over $25 million in this terminal. Construction began in April 2019, and in April 2021 the company received its operating permit and handled its first cargo of urea.
The total area of the Mineral Fertilizers Terminal at Batumi Port is 1.5 hectares. It comprises three enclosed warehouses with a total storage capacity of up to 80,000 tons of cargo. The terminal is equipped with loading and unloading conveyor systems, sewage and communication infrastructure, security cameras, as well as automatic fire alarm and fire extinguishing systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations. The terminal’s total handling capacity exceeds 1.5 million tons per year.
